Denver Airport Office Gets Face Lift

When Denver International Airport remodeled the airport main offices they wanted to create a inviting enviornment, yet create a sense of privacy in their main conference room. They selected a light "frosted" film to achieve the look they wanted.  This allowed for plenty of light to enter while restricting visiblity into the conference room.

Castle Rock Home Uses Film Combination

Can you tell the difference? Probably not, but the top windows are actually darker than the lower. Clear View installed Sun Gard Optivision 35 on the lower windows and Optivision 25 on the uppers. Since the homeowner had plans to install window treatments on the lower windows they chose to use the lighter shade on these windows. But, they wanted to leave the upper windows unrestricted yet wanted to control the harsh effects of the sun. Thus, the darker shade made a great choice to keep heat gain to a minimum and protect their home furnishings.
A special thanks to David at Design by Change!

Optivision 15 provides MAX performance

WOW.... look at the difference! This Arvada Fire Station had a serious issue with heat and glare. They selected Optivision 15. This high performance window film will cut glare by 80% and reduce solar heat by as much as 75%. The station captain remarked the film had made a huge difference.

Scam Warning!!

Today I received a text message stating that I had won a $1,000 Walmart gift card. It required me to follow a link to a website. According to Walmart the website sends you through a series of sponsored sites in addition asking you to provide personal information and post the link on Facebook.

If you did make the mistake of sharing the scam link, then you are now spamming your friends with the very same message. Clean-up your newsfeed and profile to remove references to the scam. (click the “x” in the top right hand corner of the post).
Never complete surveys to unlock videos or other content on Facebook. Scammers use these tricks to either spread malware, obtain personal identification or earn commissions from marketing companies. Don’t pad their pocket and possibly open yourself up to harm!
Some of the surveys require you to download files to your computer. Never do this! If you did so in error, then run a complete system scan with a good anti-virus software program. The I.Q. Quiz scam has been around for a while, and it typically requires you to enter your cell phone number to receive the results. The scammers then bill you for premium services. Keep an eye on your phone bill for bogus charges.

If you receive an email or text saying you've won the $1,000 gift card... DO NOT RESPOND! Instead, copy the information and forward it to abuse@walmart.com

Clear View wants you to be safe and informed. The same applies to window tinting companies. Remember the old saying... "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is".

Privacy for Firefighters

The Arvada Fire Department was looking for a solution for the day rooms in a couple of stations. These rooms have large windows allowing those passing by to see directly into the facility. Clear View installed our White Frost (Matte) window film. This allowed for plenty of light to enter the room while providing the desired privacy.
